10 Steps to Becoming a Hard Worker

The steps bellow are from a larger article titled Ten Steps to Becoming a Hard Worker and that was posted on TCB Thursday.
1) Learn from a mentor- Having a mentor is a great way to learn what it takes to succeed in you chosen or current profession.
2) Become generous- Ask not what your company can do for you, ask what you can do for your company. ?
3) Find the significance- Ask yourself if my job did not exist what problems would this company or your neighborhood have? How does your job improve your life?
4) Create goals- Goals will help you to remember your ultimate goal and keep your passion fresh.
5) Reward you milestones- Every week make a “to do” and reward yourself when you complete significant milestones.
6) Do what you love- Do things that you love by creating projects that will benefit your current employer.
7) Don’t complain- Fix work place problems the frustrate you the most.
Ask for help- Ask you coworkers for help when you need it.
9) Take good care of yourself- Eat, sleep and be merry. Don’t forget to exercise
10) Do away with distractions- Get rid of everything that makes you less productive
