Happy July 4th

July 3, 2009

Take time to give thank for  you country and the people who fought to make it what it is today. I know its not perfect but I’m so grateful to be able to call it home.

The steps bellow are  from a larger article titled Ten Steps to Becoming a Hard Worker and that was posted on TCB Thursday.

1) Learn from a mentor- Having a mentor is a great way to learn what it takes to succeed in you chosen or current profession.

2) Become generous- Ask not what your company can do for you, ask what you can do for your company. ?

3) Find the significance- Ask yourself if my job did not exist what problems would this company or your neighborhood have? How does your job improve your life?

4) Create goals- Goals will help you to remember your ultimate goal and keep your passion fresh.

5) Reward you milestones- Every week make a “to do” and reward yourself when you complete significant milestones.

6) Do what you love- Do things that you love by creating projects that will benefit your current employer.

7) Don’t complain- Fix work place problems the frustrate you the most.

8) Ask for help- Ask you coworkers for help when you need it.
